Firefly Renewable Energy VRLA battery utlizes patented Microcell Carbon Foam(MCF TM) technology that is desighned for tepeated deep discharges and partial state of charge applications in which maximum cyclelife is required. The battery utlizesa prismatic positive plate design paired with the patented firefly Microcell Carbon Foam technology negative plate. Firefly MCFTM battery optimal for many challenging applications such as solar application where the battery can be operated in partial state of charge withoit affecting its life.

The Firefly (MCF TM) Renewable Energy is the first generation deep cycle battery utilizing a Microcell Carbon Foam negative electrode. This battery is a valve Regulated lead Acid [VRLA] battery electro-chemistry technology in a maintenancefree design with an AGM seperator.Performance values contained herein are from performance testing results at Firefly International Energy’s battery test facility at USA.
